note: I have read several publications stating that Willys used zinc coated steel or aluminium for their plates. I have studied the materials used by Willys and I am 100% sure that the metal used for the respective styles (seen here on this page) between mid 1942 until the end of production is solid zinc.
From start of production until mid 1942 and the Canadian style dataplates they used brass.
I can stamp your plates in a 100% correct stamp font!
Due my continuous dataplate research I can now even better appoint the correct style for your Jeep;
When you have ordered your dataplateset, I will appoint the correct plate style for your serialnumber
I have the correct attaching hardware for each period for the Willys MB and the correct drive screws for the frameplates.
Available are the correct stencils in the factory style. The style used on the Willys MB's is different then the stencils used on ford GPW's
I can stamp your Willys MB dataplate and frame plate in the correct stamp style for each time period the MB's were made.
If you have seen original plates, please send me a picture and you will receive a free set of miniplates.
